Mouthguard Policy
Our coaches work hard to keep every activity safe, but hockey can be unpredictable. That’s why mouthguards are a must.
No mouthguard = No play.
Our coaches are brilliant, but trust us — they’re not dentists.
Common Questions
What age group is Strike Hockey for?
Strike Hockey camps are open to players aged 8–15 of all ability levels.
Where are the camps held?
Camps take place at JAGS Sports Club, Red Post Hill, Dulwich, London.
What time do sessions run?
9am – 3pm daily. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early on the first day.
What kit does my child need to bring?
Players must bring:
- Shin pads (mandatory)
- A mouthguard (mandatory — see Mouthguard Policy below)
- A hockey stick
- Water bottle and packed lunch
- Appropriate footwear (astro turf boots recommended)
Can my child attend if they are a complete beginner?
Absolutely. Camps are designed for all levels — from first-time players to county representatives. Coaches tailor activities to suit everyone.
Do you have a goalie coach?
Yes — specialist goalie coaching is available at our camps.
What happens if my child has a medical condition or allergy?
During the booking process you will be asked about medical conditions, allergies and injuries. Please provide full details so we can ensure your child is looked after safely.
Can my child leave independently at the end of the day?
Yes, provided a parent or guardian confirms independent leave consent during the booking process.
Do you take photos during camp?
We may take photos and videos for use on Strike Hockey social media and promotional materials. You will be asked to give or withhold photo consent at the time of booking.
